Changes are coming to the Atmos Energy Smart Choice rebate program that helps residential and small commercial customers lower energy bills, and consumers are encouraged to take advantage of financial incentives before some options end this year.


Rebates for home energy assessments with auditor-installed quick fixes, as well as rebates for the proper sizing of natural gas boilers and furnaces, will end Dec. 31.

The Atmos Energy Smart Choice rebate program will add some new or increased rebates starting Jan. 1 including a new $200 incentive for energy efficient tankless hot water heaters and an increase to a $400 rebate for 95 percent fuel efficient furnaces.


Full rebate information for home and small businesses as well as a custom program for large businesses is available at Atmos offers a customized incentive program for large businesses and industrial customers pursuing energy-efficient upgrades including for multi-family housing.
