Join our Mailing List

Be informed about upcoming sustainability-related events, educational opportunities, and initiatives each month by signing up for our mailing list. As a member of our mailing list, you will receive our monthly YVSC Newsletter and timely communications connecting you with ways to be involved and support sustainability action.

Become a Member

Make sustainability part of your daily life and community and join our YVSC Membership Program. As a YVSC Member, you will receive an array of sustainability-related benefits — such as access to our YVSC Explores educational excursions and gifts like our Riparian Wildlife Notecards by Jill Bergman and special-edition Jill Bergman “Plant for the Future” YVSC totes — and support sustainability action in the community through your monthly support. You will also receive Member communications that connect you with YVSC program activities, successes, and early-access ways to get involved.

Plant trees with your fellow community members to increase the health of the Yampa River riparian ecosystem. Join YVSC and community partners like Colorado State Forest Service and U.S. Forest Service in increasing forest health and/or forest regeneration in post-burn areas. Educate others on the benefits and practices of composting. Be part of a LED-bulb swap event. Whatever your passions and interests may be, we want you to be involved and help us build community through sustainability action.

The Yampa Valley Climate Crew gives community members access to volunteer opportunities that address the climate threat facing our planet, so that they, too, can be a part of the climate action solution. These projects will include tree planting, wetland and riparian habitat restoration, and site maintenance, all of which increase carbon sequestration and resilience.
