Course starts January 29th – Applications due January 5th
Every two years, Colorado State University (CSU) offers a 3 month intensive course in gardening and our local Routt County Extension Office hosts a limited group to attend this at a very steep discount. More about this program here.
Taught by CSU professionals, the program teaches all aspects of growing plants, trees, and lawns in our mountain environment. The reduced cost is recognized by volunteering 50 annual hours with the Routt County Master Gardener program.
The all-day course trainings occur every Thursday from Jan 29-April 9. Participation is limited to 20 people, with priority given to those who have completed an application by January 5, 2015. View the schedule PDF here.
