CARbon-Free Challenge participants are invited to join the after-challenge party Wednesday, July 10 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Storm Peak. We’ll be announcing the winners of the challenge and handing out prizes!
Over 140 people participated in Yampa Valley Sustainability Council’s CARbon-Free Challenge this year, pledging to use alternative transportation to commute at least once per week throughout the month of June. As of June 24, participants had logged over 8,470 miles traveled walking, biking, skateboarding or using any other form of transportation that has no negative impact on the climate.
