Local sustainability champions recognized with Yampa Valley Sustainability Council’s annual awards at community meeting January 9 in new location

Yampa Valley Sustainability Council’s monthly community meeting is at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on January 9 in a NEW LOCATION in the Routt County Courthouse Annex – Trout Creek Conference Room 1st Floor at 136 6th Street, Steamboat Springs CO.

The purpose of the community meeting is to provide the public with updates about YVSC’s current sustainability initiatives and upcoming events, as well as those of other environmental nonprofits and local governments. Each month there is a different topic of discussion, and this month we are presenting our 2018 Sustainability Awards honoring local environmental leaders. Come see who the recipients will be for Government, Local Business, Shining Star, Educator, Lifetime Achievement and Sustainable Home.
