Are you thinking about making the switch to an electric vehicle (EV), but you’re not quite sure where to start or what might work best for you? Now is your chance to figure it out! The City of Steamboat Springs is partnering with Yampa Valley Sustainability Council, Yampa Valley Electric Association, Clean Energy Economy for the Region, and Northern Colorado Clean Cities to host and Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive on Sunday, October 8 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Howelsen Rodeo Grounds. Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive a wide variety of electric vehicles, to ask local EV owners about what it’s like to own an EV in the Yampa Valley, and to learn about all of the tax credits available to make owning an eV more affordable! There will be available to test drive a Ford Mach-e, Lightning F150, Hybrid Jeeps, Tesla Model 3, S, and Y, and many more!
