On Tuesday, Steamboat County Commissioners read a proclamation recognizing America Recycles Day, Sunday November 15th. Members of YVSC attended this reading to share the stats from our 2015 Community Recycle Drop Off Day, as a statement of how impacting just one day of recycling can be on a community.

In honor of this national day, an initiative of Keep America Beautiful, the members of the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council will be handing out Yampa Valley Recycles reusable shopping bags and Bring Your Bag reminder tags at Safeway and City Market grocery stores on Sunday, November 15th starting at 12pm until 50 bags each have been handed out.
